I was standing next to her at reception and as I handed my used towels back to another attendant I overheard the conversation she was having. They were about to order her a taxi and when they asked her where she was going she mentioned,
"the charm side apartments."
I interrupted and blurted out that thats where I am staying also and I have a car arriving now to take me there and if she would like a lift.
Mabel seemed reluctant but agreed and the smiling attendants wished us well.
I opened the door for Mabel and we stepped outside as the car promptly arrived and I opened the car door for her.
She went to get in the car then abruptly stopped and spun around to face me and paused. She then lifted her finger to my lips and in a hauntingly sultry voice she slowly said, "what happened here stays here!"
