VERY interesting to write this tale from a first-person/diary perspective. I loved how you pulled it off.
Normally I'd say not going into detail about certain backstory items proves silly, but with how much you described everything else, I cannot fault those decisions. You kept us in the moment, reading what he thought and experienced, and this keeps a reader on the edge of one's seat. You portrayed the safari action well, and I appreciate how assertive you drew both Kam and Sharon. About the only possible issue I might have had was how Sharon decided not to go with the "doctor" but basically "come on" to John. I'm glad she did, though, and while you included the sex, it was not overboard by any means: you relied on storytelling to float your tale and you told it well. 5
Another excellent story. I really enjoy your style and I have become an avid reader of your prose. Thanks for another fine tale!!
This is another fine tale, expertly told. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for writing, and thank you for sharing your work.
What a great story worthy of the five stars. I wouldn't mind reading of more of his adventures.
When I see your name in the new submissions, I can be certain, as with a select few other authors here, that I am going to enjoy a well written story with fully developed characters, a believable story line and a tasteful amount of sex.
Thank you
You continue to produce a very wide variety of stories that are of a very high quality. Thank you for sharing them with us.
If you love historical fiction like I do, this definitively is a MUST READ!
The Hoary Cleric
I do hope that this author has ways to stay anonymous with the venom of the various subsets of do-gooders. He is sure to attract people who will revile him as a racist, a misogynists or worse. But he does write a good story and this is a bit unusual, but a good one. The MC's progress from one environment to another without missing much of a beat was creative. Certainly a man of all worlds. It wasn't his skills that were his main appeal, but his resilience as he moved from one environment to another. A talent sorely lacking today in our world of specialization. Certainly worthy of at least a 4*
