Janice is a saint for becoming friends with Elaine. I would not have. I would have forgiven the affair but we wouldn't be BFFs.

Even for Non-erotic

This was a strange and difficult story to read. Very off-putting to say the least. And over a couple of incidents I really didn't believe she was going to forgive her ex and put her anger aside. This simply wasn't fun or interesting to read.

I'm sure there was a point to this endeavor somewhere

But I certainly do not see it. So far everyone wins except for Mum. Is this your idea of a male cheating "feel good" piece?

Should be a happy ending, but it is not.

Elaine obviously lacks the self respect and scruples to feel shame at being the critical player in ruining a marriage. She married a whore hopper, and she is the whore. You don't explain why Maddie thinks Jenny pushed her father away, but Maddie should hate her father for not trying to reconcile with her mother. It is all a pollyannish contrivance that makes the heart sadder. Maybe when Rob later dumps Elaine you can have Elaine and Jenny become lovers! No more ridiculous than what you have written already.

much enjoyed

i hope i picked up on all the nuances of the story

nobody is perfect

everyone makes mistakes

own it , deal with it , move on without anger or angst

....

rare example of what can happen if we are able to put the past behind us

sadly very few people can.

,

well written , engaging & interesting

ty for sharing it with us

I never understand people how get mad at getting what they want

She drove him out of their marriage and he moved on - who cares if it was before the divorce was final

She didnt want him so why is she so pissed someone else did?
