WOW

This is one of the best stories I’ve read on here! The upset is pulling at my heart strings. You’ve done a great job reeling me into the story, I’ve never been so excited for an update. I’m a sucker for big drama and boy is this heartbreaking, I can’t wait to see how they pull through or possibly don’t. Keep up the amazing work!

I have been checking each day to see if there was a new update ... I’m hooked on this story. You have been able to take me on this journey, feel the emotions that Donovan felt, to imagine how Shane would be looking like and how much I wanted to punch Shane’s dad in the face!

So talented!

I did not see that coming. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Authors Response

Thanks you guys. I’m incredibly happy to know you guys are enjoying the story, it’s got some theatrics, and they have a rough road ahead, but I’m hoping you will enjoy it

They wanted to be tinked!

Well, that was too funny. But, there remains a cloud, and first of all, Shane needs to have a “come to Jesus” about hate with his Dad. Then Shane’s grandpa needs to have a “come to Jesus” with his son about hate. Shane loves Donovan. He’s hurting. Donovan is hurting, too. There remains, though, some pride in the way. As we all know, ‘it goeth before the fall’. Well, as I see it, neither can really fall any further. Healing is going to take some monumental effort, and scars always remind us of the wounds that were, but, it can happen. I am hoping for that healing right now for them. Because, it appears that Shane’s bunch are already on Donovan’s side and that one bad apple doesn’t speak for the whole crowd. Oh mercy! Come on with the next chapter. Such a rollercoaster! JP

Gah!

Can you please stop shattering my heart into a million pieces? I cannot handle the suspense or the pain everyone is going through. I love these guys too much. Be nice to them!

All the things

Hey! So I've been following you for a while (haven't commented because I almost have too many things to say and I've got three children under the age of 4 so not as much time to complete a thought as I'd like) and you've improved so much between your first story posted on literotica and this one! I am so enjoying how well you utilise POV in this story and how firmly your characters are rooted in their own thought processes. The voice you've given Donovan is fabulous and well done. I love that he and Shane are simultaneously confident and insecure in completely different ways. You have a very nice dichotomy going. This story has all the things I look for in a romance. Thank you for writing!

Another intriguing chapter. I always plan some me-time when I’m alone to read your stories. Then I can fully concentrate in the story. I even re-read previous chapter(s) to not miss a thing. Anyway can’t wait what will happen now.

"Today, the fairy boat is going to sink the battleship."

Loved this! Thank you, author! I wish I've been much more Donovan than Shane in my life! It's good to be at his POV wile he kicks them bigotry asses!

Mrsgnomie ... Mistress of the plot twist. Bravo!

God, the pains of dealing with a skewed narrator haha. The only reason the grandparents are on Donovan's side just like his friends is just proof of how powerful biases are.

The moment you are close to one side that is having that conflict, it gets easier to just trust them even though the side might actually contribute to the issue as well.
