Great story, I think that this last paragraph was the first mention of his parents existence. I do not believe that she took the pill she showed him. Wants a super baby from him.

After all, she seems to be some sort of captain of industry, which I have found to be very untrustworthy. For all we know, she will use his trusting nature to force (trick) him into using his superpowers for her own financial or personal gain. Just saying...
