That was such a treat. Sensitive and so romantic. Forgive me if I found it on the sweeter side, rather than funny. That doesn't mean I didn't love all the little wordplay you put in there. Got a smile on my face. You managed to make a spoof into a feel-good story... how do you do that?!

I love seeing your sense of humor come out! (I had to go back and read it again, to make sure I got all the little word-plays you included!) As always, you set a scene with very little effort, even in this little fantasy world, and populate it with (almost-believable) characters. Sorry it took me a while to catch up. Nice job!
