I like this story very much, it´s quite exciting but You simply have to give us readers more bakground. Why was Julius assassinated and more important by who? And are the other Ancients doing nothing about punishing the assassin/s?

Otherwise I hope we don´t have to wait too long for the next chapters.

Have the vampires done anything about her ex-husband since he killed Jules? You would think that Augustus would do something about the man who actually did the killing. He is so petty, the only reason he is keeping his place in the 5 allowed suitors is to prevent someone else from having access.
