Tom and Mary

Bobby was going to jail for sure, his daddy couldn't get him out of this one, but that was just the beginning. You see, as I worked for him as Tom, I was slowly siphoning funds out of his business to a shell company. A company that I made and appeared to be owned by Bobby. In 6 months' time I had moved about $250,000, but I made it appear as if it had been going on for months before I showed up. On top of the money being moved, I allowed the insurance lapse by making it look like that there was no money. Unfortunately, I had to let checks bounce to most of the employees, but some "anonymous benefactor" gave them what was owed, albeit 2 weeks late.

I must say that when I took the stand as Mary a few months later, I was a sobbing mess. There wasn't a dry eye in the court room. And when I took the stand as Tom a few days later, I outlined everything Bobby had done. When I was done, I knew he was convicted by how the jury looked at him. In the end, Bobby went to jail for rape, assault, battery, false imprisonment (he held me against my will after all...), embezzlement, passing bad checks, and a few other counts. Suffice it to say, he spent many years in jail, his reputation completely ruined, as was his father's since he technically owned the business.

The day after he was convicted, I visited my parents' graves for the first time since I had returned home. I placed flowers on them and I wept like a baby. The first time since their funeral that I had cried as Tom.

I lived in my hometown for the next decade or so. I took over the business that Bobby "almost ruined" and turned it into a highly profitable print shop that made text books. When I doubled my money on my initial investment, I sold it to the workers for the lavish sum of one dollar per employee. $216 in total. I helped them draw up a contract of who was in charge, etc., and they ran it like a democracy. And while it shut down sometime in late 90's, from what I heard the people who worked there were quite happy until the very end.

Unfortunately this is the end of my story... but just for now. My life in the 1960's are a story for another time. Suffice it to say, my sexual escapades as both Tom and Mary were never boring. Especially when Dawn discovered my secret. What a tale that is!
