I was ...! Huh. There's an interesting thought. You've mentioned colors before, and I've commented several times on the subject, or used it as examples, but I think I only just now had the thought if perhaps the mage sight has more correlation than perhaps was originally expected. It makes sense. And regardless of whether this is just me spitballing or not, I'm fascinated. - back to what I was saying. I was wondering when we'd see Mr Blue-eyes show up again. Even if its different that it was before, who knows, I still love that even in a crisis mode he's still himself. He's still definitely on the yellow side of green. ^.^ Nothing wrong with valuing the safety of others above catching an attacker. Depending on the circumstances. Sigh... I'm getting way too complicated in my own head about this. I like that Kal is still a Good Man. That earns respect and in the case of my desired fantasy MC, I definitely enjoy the successes about ones I'd prefer to help, rather than those I'd prefer to avoid. On that note, I'm glad that zombie's girls have ways of dealing with him, even if they can't control their circumstances and lives.
Looking forward to the next chapter and yet I have no real ideas about what's going to go down. I mean obviously, there's the final sentence of this chapter that will lead to events likely to occur... but I just can't even speculate. Or at least I choose not to, I wanna know what really happens. That just takes time on my part, and effort on yours I can only give praise for.
Mostly, the thing that sticking in my mind in this hour or so later when I'm writing this, is concern over Ria and Kal. Maybe its nothing, just a personal flaw within oneself that crops up from time to time, but I hope the they of them are well. Being cooped up with only one person for a long time can drive someone stir crazy. That coupled with now being drown in a "humanity" so unlike his own experiences. Kal could use a simple and clean fight to settle his turbulent mind. This guy wants him dead, and will use people to do it. Doesn't need to be clearer than that. xD
Thank you again for your story. Hope you and yours get and stay well. So much more of the world shaped in Prentis' wake yet to be discovered, encountered, and overcome.
This is a grate chapter. I wonder what will happen to Kal. Seriously the guy just had a Gager in his throat tell. my how many people survived that!
Not a fan of rape or slavery, it disgusts me, I know some people don’t mind and even like it but I don’t, I’m starting to not like this series anymore it’s getting too dark, shame too it was my favourite, I hope the rape and slavery stop or at the least even a warning would do of what’s in the chapter
Have you seen those warriors from hammerfell, they've got curved swords. Curved, swords.
Slavery is such a horrible institution that I wonder how anyone with a functioning mind could ever tolerate it. I realize that the depiction here is relatively mild, and I also understand that there are those who are so power hungry that they will exercise any advantage to its highest degree, regardless of the consequences. Hopefully, Bozun and his ilk will receive retribution consistent with their behavior, and we can move on with the main story. 👍 👍
So Bozun himself is an F tier assassin who has his slaves do his work. Who seemed to have a good information network earlier but now doesn't? Like he should have 100% knowledge of what happened in each attempt not from the assassin themselves.
