"Don't believe for a second I like sending a woman to her death," he snapped at the sprite. "I'm honoring this woman's wishes and making sure her grandchildren are taken care of. Slaying these worms will also spare those they would murder in the future, not to mention any their children might kill. I can't ignore all of that when the woman said herself she's ready to move on."
Untying Ria's bag, he handed it to Kashka, "Stay near me with that." Holding his arms out to the side, he took a deep breath and said, "Ria, everything but the boots. And the mask! And the mask! Leave the mask!"
A flurry of lights left Kal standing nude in front of everyone gathered. He looked around and blushed bright red from all the people staring.
A light touch on his cock jolted him out of his embarrassment, "You touched me without asking," said the old woman, "now we're even."
"Fair enough," he replied as the woman pushed her robe off her shoulders, leaving her standing in only a mask and sandals.
There were a few more startled gasps as everyone else saw her scars.
"Ria, store that for her," said Kal.
"A moment, Kal. We keep the robe and give it to their next of kin," said Turam.
"I'll be sure you get it back," the mage replied before turning back to the old lady. "Would you like an arm or prefer if I carry you?"
The woman laughed. "It's been a long time since I've been carried by a man. I think I'd like that."
Kal gingerly scooped the woman into his arms and looked back at Kashka and Ria.
"Ready?" he asked.
Ria nodded and vanished from sight, alighting moments later on his shoulder. Kashka's expression was hard as diamonds and one he hadn't seen since her fight with Bozun.
Turning toward the worms, he carried the old woman out into the open sands.

As for the watersports scene... Damn. That was already like my most intense hidden fetish - in that exact way - and I wasn't expecting it to have quite the mental impact that it did. I for one will certainly not be upset if that sort of scene comes up again.
jpz007ahrenalmost 3 years agoVery nice. Congrats to Laika for finally getting one of her fetishes satisfied, its not my cup of tea but she and you handled it very well. Taking time to acclimate their audience to her preferences and then not making a big deal about it when the time came. It does help that Kal has had prior experience with his plant women - and a silly thought just shot through my head that is rapidly expanding into something that is not particularly helpful. Nevertheless, a fascinating thought and more interesting is what will unfold as the story continues.
I love to see the nuances and limitations remarked about, embraced, and the characters trying to use their own ingenuity to come up with alternate solutions. Really makes the world stay real and interesting. I especially loved and am intrigued by how thorough the elves were in making their enchanted tents- at least those of Kal's quality. Because that's not a 1st thought for creating a magical shelter is it? Sure, you protect it from outside effects and attacks; but to also know to protect the ground it sits on, and the foundation that supports that ground? That's deep and tricksy thinking that is utterly fascinating from a high magic perspective. Of course there are always limitations and exploits that can be made, but I love that these are things that have to be found and researched and tested rather than just a random solution popping into someone's head to trivialize an encounter. As well it should be for those grander magics.
Anywhose. Loved the chapter and looking forward to the next one. Although the "cliffhanger" wasn't quite as intense as I was preparing for; the previous warning is appreciated all the same. Eagerly yet patiently awaiting the next chapter.
