I don't get it. Why did Kal suddenly change his mind on having more daughters? I thought he considered it his duty to help monster girls who wanted daughters? Did I miss something? I'm confused.

I imagine Ikuno is gonna slap him silly for his behavior, considering all the time and effort it took her to get him open to the idea in the first place

Did that finally blow drain the power of the lich enough that Team Ikuno/Kal can imprison him for eternity? Or enough to banish him from this plane of existence? Or will this just be a stage in an ongoing war that forces the lich into some sort of eons long rejuvenation process? Inquiring fans want to know! Instead we have to await the latest episode, while hanging in a cloud of questions over a proverbial cliff of wonder....
