absolution from the words of a stranger.

I lost My wife in a motorcycle accident 6 years ago.She was my best freind , and confidant and the absolute love of my life. Thank you for this story and the words of divination. What a moving story, I will always love her and although she is gone, no one can take my memories.

Very Romantic

A truly 'romantic' piece. Surprizingly uplifting at the end, not the kind of 'downer' it might have been. Would like a bit more dialog up front, and perhaps the 'why' they couldn't be together could be expanded and given a better rationale. But, nevertheless, enjoyable and in its own way (after all, one of the main characters dies!) heartwarming.

Thank you so much for this.

I lost my wife of 41 years, to cancer last year. I thought that I was a big 'Roughy-toughy ex sailor', that I could cope with the loss.

I threw myself into various projects, just to numb the pain. I've bought a van and converted into a campervan. She's called Vanessa!

Lately the grief has been catching up with me. Then I read your story.

I've sobbed, I've howled. My shirt is soaking with tears. I dread to think what my neighbours think. I don't care what they think!

Cheers, Sunshine, you're brilliant.
