The afterglow begins to set in almost imperceptibly as their thoughts wander and return to the moment they have just shared. Each young man then begins to think of the proscriptions of cleanliness. They leave the divan and return to the faucet in the corner of the room to do the ritual of the soapy cleansing.
As intense as their interaction has been, they are content not to speak and make small talk. After Umut returns to the lockers and dresses, he finds Mehmet, shakes his hand, and leaves in it a considerable "thank you" for the time they spent together.
