My marriage has been a partnership... not a utopia, as we do disagree at times, and have even had some VERY high-volume discussions on various topics, but it always remained an equal partnership.
In this case, a too-easily led wife bought the bullshit her friend was giving, and followed down a path to destruction of her marriage and her world.
Do I think she deserved the reconciliation (of sorts) that she got ?

AllNigher3 months agoNo one in this site seems to understand that morality clauses or employee conduct requirements are written by corporate lawyers to protect their company, not the employees and certainly not employee spouses, families, or other third parties.
Any company that wrote an employee policy that puts the company at risk if the employee violates it should go out of business, and the lawyer who wrote it should be disbarred. I'd love to see this echo chamber plot device disappear...

If someone makes a grab for power, it’s because they feel a lack of power, and want more to, at least, even things out. phill1c8 months agoAny suit brought against the company for not enforcing company policy would be thrown out because, for one, the husband, not being an employee of the company, has no legal standing to bring such a suit. The company owes him nothing.
