I must have missed it. Did he pass? Trig that is, not sex-ed.

This could continue ....

While this story could stand on its own, it could also have a sequel. Maybe after Craig graduates from college, gets a job, and comes back to find Alex still single and still in love with him. (I'm biased -- a few years ago, I was in a similar situation with genders reversed. I met her in an academic context, we were drawn to each other despite a large age difference, and after a year of passionate love and incredible sex, we went our separate ways. I'm hoping for a happier ending for Craig and Alex.) Very well written, with sympathetic characters. Thank you!

Meddling mom

I think Craig needs a show-down with his controlling parents in the follow-up (hint - hint (-;)

A follow-up?

It sounds like something I'd like to toy with. Relationships seldom end with a clean break, and this one might not either. Logic tells them to call it quits, but there's enough mutual affection/emotion for Craig and Alex to reconsider. We'll see.

"It's not hopping into bed with a sex-crazed divorcee half his age, that's for sure!"

Twice his age??

"Alex peaks through the door. " - peeks!

Time for a follow up

Would enjoy your writing on how they move on.

2 years later they meet again.

Zanetti has his own place and he is a very in demand tradesman.

Lastly, Mrs Cassidy still craves for him.
