Mud and Magic took over his time as well as the two geek pride events. Attempts were made but didn't feel right. Currently on the back burner.

Besides, despite all the crap Dorgon has to deal with, he's still bright enough to realize that sulking in a cave alone somewhere won't help either. Since they're offering, why not?

Even though no one asked yet, there is a sequel in the works.
