A great Halloween story of a cheating bitch well and truly burned. I wasn’t expecting the “Carrie” touch that you used for discovery of the murder. Great idea in letting Jim light the match for Carol’s cleansing fire himself. Her fear of fire made it a , much deserved, double hell for her along with knowing her lover would probably be free in a few years. I enjoyed your story.

Horrifying even in death the horror continues.

Surely unique, i enjoyed reading it. Seemed a little spars on some details for me as while it was intellectually stimulating I never really warmed up to the character development. 4*

Nitpick….but the way execution works it would have been a dozen years between conviction and sentence. Story might have related how she hated prison time 😈
