If they're supposed to be the moral compasses of their worlds, why would you make them cheating bastards? Are their wives allowed to have such "fun" in their absence as well? What if they get some Urff girl pregnant? I know it's just a story, but this part is quite a departure from your original premise.

He's now a shallow waste of space. I dispise the both of them. I doubt you can save the story, now that the heroes are adulterers with no remorse.
