I loved this story. Valerie's discovering her true self is fabulous, and the stuff with Francine underscores the sweetness of the rest of the story, by making it clear how lucky Valerie is. Your portrayal of a person's post-trauma reactions is more realistic than one usually finds in fiction, and I applaud you for that.

By the end of the story, I was betting with myself as to whether you were a man or a woman, and I guessed wrong, which makes what you've accomplished with this story all the more amazing. Well done.

The entire story was so wonderful and then it just ends. I would have thought that it would have been a tad bit more elaborate, but still a good story.

I only wish one thing would change in the Epilogue (but of course it's your story)--make Sally actually bear the child, and the sperm donor Valerie's husband's brother, and make a great naming scene, where (unknown to Francine, who is present) Valerie and Sally name their daughter "Francine." It'd break me.

This is the one of the best erotic stories I have ever read. Valerie is a truly wonderful fully rounded character. I normally don't especially enjoy BDSM stories feeling wrongly that anybody who enjoyed submission would have to have self esteem issues, & that anybody who got off on beating people was emotionally damaged. This is the first BDSM series that ever explained the motivations of the main characters in a way that i found credible. You really opened my mind dweaver999 and I thank you.
