She had an experience watching her cousin getting to ride during sex and got caught up watching because her husband who while sympathetically written and very competent in bed is too rigid physically to ever let her take a control position during sex. While watching she got caught and pinned to the wall. She was threatened with sex at a time of arousal and had a physical reaction resulting in an urge that she acted on. I think many readers can relate to acting sexually in the moment in ways we wouldn't have while worked up. I don't think temptation makes you weak. And acting poorly in one instance doesn't make you bad. I do appreciate your take on the events it was supposed to create a mixture of emotions.

Pugzillaabout 4 years agoAuthorThank you for the feedback. I'm really ok with the critical advice. Feedback is always appreciated especially when it is specific. It helps me get better. I kind of brought it on myself by posting in the loving wives category. The fanbase for that particular kink is pretty hard to please. On the flip side, they are usually the most voracious readers so I got more eyes on my work with this entry. It's understandable that people who are new to the series wouldn't find the characters likable and think they are underdeveloped. I set most of the characters up several dozen entries ago. I also can understand not liking the extra fluff added to an entry with so little payoff. As a stand-alone story, I have to admit this wasn't a fun read. Knowing that I plan on tying much of the events in this story back into future plotlines changes things up a bit.
Jennings was actually a mistake I made. I hadn't really planned on making Jacob/Jennings into a more involved character. It wasn't until I wanted to add a Solomon character into the mix that I figured on developing Jacob/Jennings into a launching pad for Solomon. I wrote this entry and called the character Jennings forgetting that I had named him previously. I guess I missed it when I was changing the name to Jacob.
