Flopping down in her command chair, she ate as she looked over her readouts. Everything was in the green. Her life was now in the green. She had friends. She had something to do in her life that was important. As she cleaned up her lunch dishes, Cass dropped out of hyperspace.
"Welcome, Castor," came Anna Duff's voice.
"Anna, how goes the exploring?" Gillian said a smile plastered on her face.
"Just fine, joins us down here. It's really nice."
"On our way," replied Gillian. "Take us down Cass."
Cass nosed over just a little. The rest of the squadron followed. They were now embarking on a new quest as explorers. And that was a good thing.
