Wow this went completely off the rails at the end.

A little ‘long in the tooth’ at times but overall it was a great read. This story could be extended in a couple of different ways.

Terrible story, I’ve read this twice thinking maybe I was wrong the first time. I was not.

Worthy of a sequel. Mi back to "work" and Liz becoming second wife.

====> Liz is quote possibly one of the dumbest LWs (technically almost a fiancee) on this site..That was weak blackmail and could have easily gotten him jail time, if she bothered recording even one encounter. And he was still taping her anyways. And then her response to Daniel when he discovered her. And her subsequently continuing blackmail sex % rape with Gordon AFTER the discovery, all because her after is ill. And she expects twd she coukd mend things with Daniel. Just needed time. No communication. No contrition. Just savage statement and letting others humiliate him, because she continued to cave to Gordon's weaksauce blackmail. Balderdash. Seriously she gets a Darwin award nomination for dumbest girlfriend / fiancee / wife character in an LW story.

Wow, so many negative comments. They were not exclusive, her clients were few and far between and she was in the process of telling him. What did they expect, a thirty year old virgin? As soon as he moved to be exclusive she told him. And the hardest task in the world is to evaluate yourself, so her inability to identify her own issues is understandable and almost expected.

Hookers, escorts prostitutes are are just business also but I wouldn't want a practicing one as a girlfriend, all the more if I found out after dating for a while.

Typical lying woman. A sex surrogate who enjoys her work and she didn’t tell him. Really ? What a load of bollocks. She lied and covered up her lies and then admitted, twice, that she enjoyed having sex with her clients. Not just no but hell no.

I would differ with the commenters criticizing the portrayal of the lead male character "running away" under stress. Well.... reviewing his history with women, I can relate to that. Sometimes it IS easier to just walk away. It's one thing to fight for a marriage through difficulty but another to question the fitness of a potential lifetime mate if something very disturbing come to light. The Mia character would have known better than to hide a potential complication if she were a counseling professional and therapist. So he was right to be be offended. But he then proceeded to do the right thing even though painful. I liked this story.

I'm torn between 5 stars for well written, engaging and interesting story with interesting characters, and 1 stars, because honestly, she had a committed long term relationship implying exclusivity with the guy and didn't see fit to let him know she's fucking hundreds of dudes for work and finding "fulfillment" in it? She's a PhD in counseling and can't tell she is addicted to that fucking? Sorry but I'm TOTALLY not buying either of those.

Yes, the fact that she was willing to graciously stop fucking others speaks mighty high of her. Yes, sarcasm intentional. But doesn't even NEARLY address that issue I mentioned, that she basically lied to him about fucking others. The fact that it was for a paid job is irrelevant, sex is sex.
