This has swiftly become one of my favourite stories on Lit. Looking forward to reading the rest.

Jimbob you write stories, wonderful stories that I love to read. Five stars is all that they'll let me give, but you deserve so many more. Thank you.
i've read this jb44 opus probably ten times, great and very involved story-but prime people and development.
Is to read through it a cpl more times. When you put he instead of she and vis versus it's jarring and interrupts the flow.
A Little Bit of Everything
Thanks for a delightful mash up of generations, cultures, genders, stereotypes, and caricatures.
It would have been even better without the occasional political agenda speech.
Despite the self-deprecation this is a brilliantly written story. The author has a particular gift for writing understated emotional climaxes (those last few paragraphs here are superb, as are the last few pages of "Scarlett & Violet").
I look forward to more chapters.
A small gripe however - I hate stories that wander across categories. That's what "novels & novellas" is for.
just pleased as punch you are still writing and posting it up on this site for us to read.
bless you jimbob44
I'm soooooo glad you are still writing tales on this site. I thoroughly enjoy visiting your piece of Louisiana.
Don't change a thing. And keep them coming.
To me personally I think it is well written. The varying story lines give different views on what love is young and old, straight or gay it doesn't matter as the old adage goes the heart wants what it wants. I think people are better served reading stories like this it shows that love is a very beautiful if sometimes hard to define thing. Thank you
OK, going to be brief. I really like this story so far, even like the two Lesbians because they are such interesting characters, although Caitlin gets the prize.
