Undoubtedly -
i come to it time and again - you have the rare quality of capturing a real moment of honesty and eroticism.
An interesting, well written story. The connection between the two, though not highly emotional or exceedingly strong, is well established -- good for a short story. You are rooting for them.
I am left with, not sadness, but melancholy. I suppose any number of short encounters have ended this way. Herein lies the problem. I read Literotica to be entertained. The plot did not leave me satisfied, but wishing.
So 3 stars.

This was a well written story about two people who might have been soul mates but never found out. I identify with his hoping to catch a glimpse of Cheryl again. The memory is as fresh as yesterday, but he can't go back to try again. An excellent story!.
