So Jessie is some kind of raptor but her arms turn into (what looks like) bird legs? So she doesn't have wings? Instead of a bird, I'm wondering if she's a were-dinosaur. The dino raptors had lethal talons on their arms, so that part fits. Am very intrigued - looking forward to the next chapter.

That being said, I couldn't help but chuckle when Jessie reached the (apparently) correct conclusion that the curse came true. Since the Richard boys don't have the Alpha mantle - could it be that Silvie inherited the mantle? If so, since Jacob and Silvie pledged themselves to each other as mates, could Jacob have inherited the mantle as Alpha mate before Silvie died? Hhmmm, intriguing possibilities. I am officially hooked into this story.

I was thinking Griffon as well. Dragon is also a good guess.

It started out so well, the first few chapters were written so nice, put together. But now it's just drivel. I'm sad cause it's got potential. Just needs more experience in writing.
