Fun story. Especially for a car nut. Good character development. Predictable plot but well done. Thanks.
Great characters and dialogue. Thanks for resurrecting this fine story. 5*
An enjoyable light romance with a bit of a poke in the ribs aimed at men’s hypocritical view toward promiscuous women. J.Paul was my favorite character. Everyone should be so lucky to have a cool father in law like him. Thanks for resubmitting. It’s been a treat.
You win the award for using the most obscure car on this site!
Ninety nine percent of the people when they think of a Vega think of the long gone Chevrolet.
I actually DO know what a Facel Vega is. I had a toy one as a kid back in the early 1960s.
Great story!! Now I'll have to check what else you've written.
nice tale...however...still see an unresolved issue regarding Christine...excepting a couple of declarations of love, she exhibits all the characteristics of an entitled narcissist princess who has always lived on daddy's reputation, power, and immense wealth. All of the major decisions and actions in this tale support her entitled status... She has decided to have Ryan as her husband... This seems nothing more than a long term emotional impulse that she uses Ryan to satisfy. Like all of her previous impulses...she continues to live in her reality of entitlement and use Daddy to get her way.
Frankly the Happy Ever After ending seems spurious... Your tale does not really establish her side, her internal dialogue of her "love" as anything more than long term lust driven by emotional impulse. The tale frankly needs much more detail to establish that she has had an internal sea change...or even that she has the capacity to move from selfish entitlement into the type of unconditional love required for a long term monogamous married relationship.
Sadly, a more realistic observation from the framing, dialogue, and actions presented herein is that Christine will have a couple of years....maybe a decade of married life...but her true entitled mental framework will eventually lead to her betrayal of her married relationship when Ryan moves from the treasured conquest...to a comfortable easy chair.
Still a good tale...but frankly I thing that Ryan is the long term loser here...
5 stars
I do remember reading this story previously! The title was memorable. Great story.
Loved it when you originally posted it, loved it again this time. What a great story!
Loved this when you originally posted it, and loved it again this time. Great story.
I took a look at Google's pictures of the Typhoon. Didn't seem all that bad - the grill doesn't match the rest and the proportions are odd, but then I saw a blue one. What an ugly piece of shit. Stick to the red
Good storytelling except Christine really is a spoiled brat. Ryan is not in love, but merely infatuated, or obsessed. Either way, train wreck soon.
Damn, I loved it. Everything about it was top of the line. Hell of a story! Smiled and laughed all the way through, thanks, it was a pleasure, every bit of it! 5 BIG ASS FUCKING HUGE FLAMING NOVA STARS!
Forgive me for the repeated comments. Literotica (or Windows, if you can believe it /s) glitched and my comments weren't showing up, so I kept trying. Finally closed the tab, reopened, and sonofagun there they were. Ephesus, please delete at least the last two, or all three if you prefer.
Didn’t recall this one, nice story. I once knew a gal like Christine (except not a beauty, but cute as hell) I think a 100 guys took a run at her, but damn few succeeded in any way. She was able to fend them off without damaging their ego so they all loved her. I have no idea if she ever found Mr Right.
Thanks agin for reposting what you find, I’m enjoying it!
4 Stars on this story . Sadly I am also a jealous person . I blame it on My Irish / German heritage
I liked the story but who would think the 1958 Facel Vega FV 4 Typhoon is ugly. For its time it was one of the most beautiful cars made. ( my opinion )
I agree with all the acolades, this is an amazing hat’em , Lov”m story that could have gone both ways. Pleasure to read. Thanks and my 5 stars..
Without a lot more of Christine's side of this story it is hard to take her seriously. Dating that many men and only having sex with 5 is not believable without a lot more detail on Christine and her feelings and emotions especially about Ryan. The readers learned a lot about what was going on with Ryan and virtually nothing about what was going on with Christine other than she dated non-stop her entire life apparently. In the absence of any further information that makes her pretty unlikable IMO.
I only read (and write) in the Romance category, so I didn't recognize the author when it popped up. I saw that the catalog of stories were almost all LW and went, “whoa,” maybe not. Took the chance anyway, and read it with gusto. Glad I did. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. 5*. So, even if I have to beg you, please write more in the Romance column. Please, please, please.
In the category of best Romance lit,. Story I have ever read… This one wins my Oscar. Thanks for sharing…..
Love how you wove the car into the story. BTW Ringo Starr also had one. Oh, good story, too :)
You're a good writer and you have a good imagination. I hope to read more of your work . . . 5 stars, by the way.
3 stars. It was a good effort, but I came close to hating it. And definitely was rooting against them ending up as a couple.

First of all he's not an "asshole" for being concerned about her appearing to be a slut. There's ample research (and I mean ACTUAL research, not some random blog opinion) that women who have tons of prior sexual partners are WAY WAY worse, objectively, on a SCORE of characteristics, both health and personality wise and chances of successful marriage. So the fact that not only does everyone CALL him an asshole - especially her - but gaslight him into believing it, not only is evil, but portends AWFULLY to success of their marriage. Next she will call him an asshole for having any opinion of his own. Next, for objecting to her going out with other men - remember the whole speech about Orbit she gave when he was apologizing? How it was her body and right to do what she wanted and none of his business. Sounds like all cheaters.
/
Second, she's - independently of him - a disgusting spoiled brat. The important fact here is that she LIKES to harm her father by stealing his car and risking both the car and even her life. Nice woman to have for a wife. Dreamy. Notice she didn't even fucking apologize when she rear-ended his car.
/
Lastly, he'll be married to a daughter of a super powerful man who has zero morals or ethics when it comes to his daughter. She complains about her husband, she ALREADY has unfair man hating judicial system on her side as a woman. THIS one, also has someone who can afford to hire a contract killer. Hell he didn't mind firing a man illegally for merely saying something true that pissed him off. NOT a good marriage to be in.
Oh I really liked this, not just a fuck story, a lot more thoughts and feelings put into it, we are all human, all different from each other but have similar feelings when it involves a lover.
When cheated on and getting to know them we all go through a lot, some more than others.
You put one side of these feelings down in this very well.
I must say that Ryan acted like a complete idiot for most of this story. I gave it a 4* rating, but it could easily have been a 3*. One of my prime criteria for liking a story is that I have to be able to root for the MCs. Christine had some positive characteristics, but she really wasn't likeable. Maybe she was a good match for Ryan in that regard. I should probably rate the story after I write the comment so I have a chance to think it through. Next time.
This story sounds too true and it wasn't all good.
The Story was very Good.
Why does the demon of love dismantle a Man's brain?
Quite a story. Didn't much like the characters and their decisions, but it did create some drama.
