I really enjoyed the ask :-) A guy that would do that is more likely an engineer type than a lawyer, but it's fiction anyway so it worked for me!

Really enjoyable story that added a new layer of complexity and interest to Crimes, Torts, and Trials. I think you made the right choice since it really worked better as a standalone rather than overlaid on and splitting the focus in that story. Great job!
