Goodness I am now officially depressed. I was so looking forward to all the hate comments I was expecting. Sigh...

As far as what may or may not happen with Jim it is going to be a few months before I post additional chapters. I need to focus on my other stories as well as some new ones I am working on.

Nothing like knocking off the hero and letting the story change direction, again. Actually there could still be an echo/ricochet/dialation effect that could surprise us all. Great story, just a bit of a downer there at the end, this is definitely a tragedy in the classical sense. Not everyone lives to a ripe old age and sees many generations of offspring grow up and multiply. Thanks for letting the new comers get integrated into tribal life. Sounds like a great place to retire, all except the steaming season. Please do continue to turn our dull lives off for a moment or three and let us indulge in a bit of fantasy like this, again... ;o)

I don't know why you chose to kill off Jim nor do i really care why but please,i loved reading the World of Ranicke series cause it was well written,had romance,love,action,and comedy all in one. Please,bring Jim back somehow because while i hope you write more of this series it just won't be the same without him. Whatever you decide to do with this series,I want to say thank you for writing it since as much as I cried when it happened and wish you hadn't had Jim die in this chapter i still enjoyed reading up until he died. I do applaud you for keeping his name alive though by having Sheeha name their child Jim

You wanted more GRRR's! Here ya go. I would never second guess any writer. But if Jim dies of anything other than old age surrounded by his family I may never read anything else you write. I suspect there is much more going on here than we, your faithful readers, understand. Enjoying the story very much up to this point. The fact tjat you imply your not done with this sgory yet gives me hope. Thank you.
