"I saw you and Rose there. I wanted to speak to you, but I was invisible and I was too scared to say hello, so I... I touched your phones, when they were in your hands, so that I could talk to them. It was a very bad thing to do and I am very sorry!"

"So... You can send text messages to phones to once you've touched them? How does that work?"

She shrugged. "I just can. I do not know how I can do it. I think the things I want to say, and the phone makes them appear."

"Could you send a text to Rose's phone right now?"

"No! It's bad and I will not do it again!"

"It was bad because you were pretending to be us. Can you send one as yourself?"

"I don't know. I have never tried."

"Well, try it now. Just say hello."

Xeplegh toyed nervously with the edge of her wing and closed her eyes. Her eyelids fluttered, and she took a deep breath.

Rose's phone buzzed. There was a text from Unknown Number. 'Hello I am Xeplegh', was what it said.

"Whoa..."

"Did it work?"

"Yeah. So, you can just do stuff like that with phones? And you don't even know how you're doing it?"

"Before, before the Blue Moon disappeared, and I was in the other time, I could make words appear in other people's minds. I try to be careful with it, because it is very scary to have another person's voice in your head, and I do not like to scare people. But I have learned from movies that phones and computers can think, even though they have no minds... It is very strange. I do not understand it. But I thought, if they can think, can I talk to them too? So I tried it. It is harder than talking to people, and I have to think of all the letters one by one, and I have to touch the phone before I can talk to it, but I can do it."

"And speaking of technology, if this place is abandoned, how does that TV work? This house shouldn't have power." She stood, and Xeplegh jumped. "Whoa. Okay, calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. Good lord, you really are more scared of me than I am of you at this point, huh?"

She investigated the television. It wasn't plugged in, or even anywhere close to the nearest power outlet. Despite this, Xeplegh waved a hand and it turned itself on.

"Whoa, freeeaky. So you can just do weird shit with electronics all over the place, huh?"

She shrugged again. "I want for it to turn on and it does. I do not know how I do it. I just do it." She waved her hand again and it turned back off.

Mari looked at her curiously. "How old are you, Xeplegh?"

"How long was the Blue Moon gone for?"

"The best estimate that the Moonsingers and the Magnussons have come up with is about five-thousand and two-hundred years or so, but I'm not counting those. Before, when you disappeared, how old were you?"

"Oh. Twenty years."

Mari tilted her head in surprise, and Xeplegh retreated back into her wings a little bit. "What? Is that bad?"

"No, it's just... Three years since the Quake, so effectively you're twenty-three. You're only a little bit older than me. I just didn't expect that. Do succubi have parents, or were you... I don't know, created?"

"I have a mother and a father." Her expression dropped. "Had."

"Did they not come back when you did?"

"If they have I have not found them. I tried calling out to them in my head many, many times, but they have never responded."

"Oh." Mari looked at her, then she sat down on the bed, right in front of her. Xeplegh nervously scooted away from her a little bit. "Do you want to talk about it? That can help, sometimes."

She was silent for a long moment, staring at Mari from behind her wings. When she finally spoke, her voice was very quiet. "When I fell asleep... The big sleep, when we all disappeared, I was in my glade. It was a pretty glade. There were trees and sweet-smelling flowers and cute little mushrooms, and a pond that was filled with clear water that I liked to bathe in. I was bathing when it happened, in the light of Blue Moon and White Moon. There was a terrible noise, and everything became darker. I looked up, and Blue Moon was gone. I was very scared. I didn't know what to do. And then I could not see anything..."

"Do you remember anything, from the between-time?"

She shook her head. "It was like a dreamless sleep. And then I woke up. It felt like just a tiny little nap. Blue Moon was back, but I was not in my glade anymore. I was lying on a flat, rock ground, and there were large buildings all around, bigger than any I had ever seen before, and angry, screaming creatures made of metal, with bright lights for eyes."

"Cars?"

She nodded. "One of them almost hit me, it stopped with a screech, and the man inside of it gaped and stared at me, and then he looked up and saw the Blue Moon, and he seemed to be afraid of it. I was afraid too. I made myself invisible and ran away. I ran and ran, but the giant buildings and ground made of rock and angry cars seemed to never end. All the people that I saw seemed scared of the Blue Moon. They were standing around, pointing at it, and aiming their little rectangles at it. Phones, but I did not know what those were yet."

"What happened then?" Mari found herself leaning in excitedly. She remembered the Quake, of course. It was only three years ago, and her experience of it here in Blanchepierre was very similar to what Xeplegh was describing, but she had never heard the story from the point of view of a magical creature, one of the folks who were brought back into the world with it.

"I ran until I found trees. They weren't my trees. I did not recognize them. But they were the first familiar thing that I found. I was scared... I hid for days. I called out to my mother and father with my mind, and to my friends. I did not have lots of friends, but I had some... But nobody answered. I hid and I cried until I had to come out to find people to have sex with, or I would starve. I avoided the big buildings, but I still found folks. Humans were everywhere. Everywhere. It is different now, from the world I used to know. I could travel for miles and miles and never see a person before. Now, it is hard to find a place where there are not people. I made illusion clothes for myself that looked like theirs, but nobody spoke any tongue that I knew. I had to learn their words. It took me weeks before I could talk to them, even badly. They called the place that they lived in Ukraniya, which is not what folks called it before I went to sleep."

"So... You are from the Ukraine. In a way. How did you end up all the way out here in Missouri?"

"I flied." Her wings quivered. "I did not know what to do, or where to go... The world was different. Everything was different. Nobody was answering my calls to their minds. I could not find my glade, so I chose a direction, and I began to fly. I landed, sometimes, to find someone to have sex with, but mostly I flied and flied and flied... The land looked different, and there were giant metal birds in the sky, and I was scared... I found myself in a different place, where the people spoke a different tongue. Polska. And then I kept flying, and I reached a place where the language was very different, it was called Deutsch, and then a place that the people who lived there called France. I did not like any of these places... They were all the same. There were big cities full of big metal buildings and screaming cars and too many strange people."

"Aren't there tons of small little villages in Europe? Couldn't you have holed up near one of them?"

"I tried. But I was very scared of cars. I am still scared of cars, but... not as much. I thought that if I flew across the sea, I would find a place where there were no cars."

"So you came to America? Phew. Sorry to disappoint you."

"I did not know that there are cars everywhere in the world now. I cannot escape from cars, so I have learned to live with them. I cannot not fly across the sea, and I was too scared to try to get on a metal bird, so I flew until I found a boat. It was an ugly boat, made of metal, full of huge metal boxes, and it belched steam into the air, but it was a boat. I know boats. I hid on it, and it took me to a place called New York City."

"Oof. I bet you didn't like that at all."

She shook her head. "It was much, much worse than any other place I had seen. The buildings were as big as mountains, and the ground was all hard, ugly stone, and it was so, so loud! I flew away from there very quickly. I kept flying, looking at the places on the ground until I realized... I cannot get away. I cannot go back. There is no place in this world that is like the world I once knew. So... I decided that if I have to be a part of this world, I will fit into it as best I can. I found this empty house, and I have been here ever since."

"Teaching yourself English and watching movies and luring girls to parties?"

She cringed. "I don't deserve to be friends with you. You... You can leave. I can last another few days before I need to have sex. I can find someone else..."

"Oh, don't be like that. I mean, yeah, you fucked up, and it was a shitty thing to do," Xeplegh withered noticeably at this, "buuut, honestly we did sort of jump to conclusions earlier. I'll forgive you, if you promise not to use your illusions on us or trick us like that ever again."

Her eyes went wide. "R- Really?"

"Yeah, sure. You're not doing any right now, are you? Tell me the truth."

"Only these." Mari blinked, and all of a sudden Xeplegh was completely naked. Her nipples were soft and pink, and her pussy was clean-shaven. "I cannot fit most clothes over my wings, so I make them up."

"You've been naked this whole time?"

"Yes. Is, um... Is that bad?"

"Shit, and I thought I was an exhibitionist. No, I don't think anyone will get upset with you for putting illusory clothes on yourself. And, hell, I can think of a lot of fun stuff that you could do with that sort of magic, but you've got to let us know when you're making illusions around us. Friends tell each other the truth, right? If you want us to trust you you've got to show that you're worthy of trust."

Xeplegh gasped. She actually brought both hands up to her mouth as she did it, and Mari couldn't help but find it cute. "We... We are friends?"

"Yeah, sure. Why not?"

"Really?" She was actually starting to cry now. Tears were forming in her eyes.

"Yeah, and I think Rose and Lilly will be too, if you just explain everything to them. And it probably wouldn't hurt to apologize to them again."

"EEE!" She squealed with excitement, and her wings quivered. "You are the first friend I have made since I woke up! Well, except Skeptos, but he is a cat, and not very good at conversations. I- I've been so lonely, I..." The tears were streaming now. "Can I give you a present? I wanted to give it to you earlier, but then all of these things happened."

"Uh. Present?"

"It's an illusion present. Is that okay? It will feel real, but it is not real! And I can make it go away if you don't like it, you only have to tell me."

"Um. Suuure?"

"Okay, um. You will be able to feel this. It will feel very real, but it is not!"

"You already said that. What is it?"

"It will be easier to show you... It is done."

"Uh, okay?" Mari looked around. "I don't see anything."

"Look at your tummy."

She looked down and saw... Her boobs. Which was pretty much all that she ever saw when she looked down. They looked a little off though, like there was something pushing on them from below. She put her hand to her stomach and...

She gasped. She could not feel her hand with her stomach, but she could feel her stomach with her hand. It was... Rounder than it had been a moment ago. She leaned back and squished her breasts up against her chest so that she could see it, and when she did, her eyes went wide.

She looked pregnant. It wasn't a big bump, just a little bit of a curve, as if she was only a few months along. But it looked real. It felt like her skin when she rubbed her hand over it, taught and firmer than normal, but familiar. The only thing that gave it away was that she did not seem to be able to receive sensations through this false belly. She could feel her normal stomach, where it actually was, underneath it.

"Holy shit."

"Do you like it?" Xeplegh asked nervously. "I got the idea when we played Truth or Dare. You said that you want to be pregnant, but you do not want babies. This way, you can be big and round without having babies inside of you."

"Oh my god."

"It... Is good, yes? Your marking is turning pink. That means you are happy?"

"Blue is happy, pink is... Um." Mari rubbed her belly with both hands. "It's good. Yes. Extremely good. Can you make it bigger?"

"Yes, of course! How big do you want it to be?"

"Uh... You know what? Can you just make it grow until I tell you to stop?"

"Yes! I can do that!" Xeplegh seemed to be absolutely delighted that she could help.

She didn't have to wave her hand or say any magic words or anything. She just looked at Mari's belly, and... it started to grow. "Oh... Oh, fuck," Mari muttered. It happened slowly, but as she watched, it grew rounder, bigger. After just a few seconds it had already doubled in size. It was really lifting her breasts up now, though those weren't growing with it. She found herself a little bit disappointed at that, but only a little bit.

Her pasties fell off. She had reapplied them after flashing the party earlier (Although, really, she had actually just flashed Rose, Lilly, and Xeplegh, hadn't she?), but she wasn't as good at putting them on as Aura was, so they were a little loose. Her nipples hardening underneath them had shoved them right off, and they fell out from underneath her shirt.

Xeplegh was watching, entranced, and blushing a little bit. "Um... I can see... The dark parts around your nipples. Is there a word for those?"

"Areola," said Mari breathlessly, still rubbing her growing tummy. "Wanna see more of them?"

"Can I? Your breasts are very beautiful, and very big. I was happy that you let me see them, before."

Mari doffed her jacket and lifted her shirt, not that it was doing much to cover them at this point, tossing it aside. She was completely topless now, and Xeplegh's eyes got very wide.

"Wow..." She was, apparently, so impressed that her concentration on the illusion was broken, and Mari's false belly stopped growing. She looked like she was... perhaps seven or eight months gone now? Despite having several hundred megabytes of pregnancy porn stashed away on her laptop, Mari wasn't actually all that good at judging her own size. She looked big, though her stomach still did not extend out past her breasts.

"You have the biggest breasts that I have ever seen..." said Xeplegh.

"Second biggest. You've seen Lilly."

"Not without clothes on. Are they part of your body-magic? Some people have two."

Mari laughed and gave them a little jiggle. "Nope. They've been getting bigger since the Quake, but they were huge even before then, and the rate of growth didn't change when my marking came in. I'm pretty sure they're all just me."

"I did not know that breasts could get so big without magic..."

"I've never met a single person who had bigger boobs than me who wasn't also, you know, a lot heavier," said Mari proudly. "Well, except Lilly." She looked over at where she was sleeping on the couch. She had her arm wrapped around Rose now, and she was still mumbling in her sleep. "But we're pretty sure that hers are magical. Apparently she was gigantic even before the Quake, and after the Quake she never developed any other weird quirks. None of us know how the hell she got her body-magic before magic actually came back, but that's the only explanation that any of us can come up with."

Xeplegh looked thoughtfully at her. "She can resist my spells, and she had magic while magic was gone? Hmm."

"She resisted your spells?"

"I had to cast my sleeping spell twice before it affected her."

"Yeah, uh... About that. You really should wake them up, Xeplegh."

She looked sheepish. "Lilly was very angry at me. I think that she will still be angry when she wakes up."

"Well... When you wake her up I can talk to her. And Rose. Rose is really level-headed, and if you just explain to both of them what you told me, I think they'll come around."

Xeplegh looked at the two of them asleep on the sofa, then she looked at Mari. Then she looked at Mari's breasts. Mari looked at her breasts too, and her big, round belly.

"Well, uh, actually..." she said suddenly. "We can give it a few more minutes. It might freak them out a little if they wake up and see me all big and pregnant, and I don't want to stop being big and pregnant yet." She had, the entire time that they had been talking, been rubbing her belly with both hands.

"Yes..."

"Hey, um... Will it make things weird if I sort of play with my boobs a little bit while you're making me bigger?"

Xeplegh looked surprised. "You still want to be bigger? But, um, no! I would like to watch you play with your boobs."

"Hell yeah I want to be bigger! I wanna be huge!" She was already toying with her nipples, lightly pinching and squeezing them with one hand while the other was still locked to her belly. "I should warn you, I get sort of weird with this pregnancy thing. I wanna keep going until I look like I'm full-term with triplets or something."

"Oh, wow..."

Mari laughed. "Oh god, am I out-kinking a succubus? I guess it's fine if you don't want to do that. Sorry. I can't help what I like."

"No, no! It is alright!" Mari's belly suddenly started growing again, and just the sight of it caused her to gasp and clench her thighs together. "I want to make you feel good! If this is a thing that will make you feel good, I will do it happily."

"Oh, fuuuck..." Mari moaned happily and pinched her nipple. She wanted to play with both of them, but she also wanted to finger herself, and also rub her belly. She didn't have enough hands for this. "Hey, um... Xeplegh?"

She was sitting straight up now, watching Mari with rapturous intent. "Y- yes?"

"Wanna touch my boobs?"

Her face lit up, and she gasped. "Can I?"

"I think you've earned it. Be gentle though. They're sensitive."

She nervously scootched closer, and when she reached out her hand was shaking. She was so hesitant and timid that Mari couldn't help but giggle. "You must have have tons of experience, but you're acting like it's your first time."

"It is my first time with someone who knows what I am, in this time..."

"Let me help you." Mari grabbed her hand and placed it on her right breast, over her marking, which was now a very bright pink and actually starting to glow.

Xeplegh was bright pink too. She was a big blusher, apparently- every part of her above the waist was flushed with excitement. "Oooh... It feels wonderful..."

"Try lifting them," said Mari, and she did. Her hands were warm and soft.

"Ooh, they are so heavy! Heavier than they look."

"Boobs are made mostly of fat and glandular tissue. Some women have more fat in theirs, but mine are almost all glandular tissue. It means they're denser and heavier than normal, and if I ever start lactating they'll get a lot bigger."

"Um. Is... Is that good?"

Mari laughed. "Sorry, I guess I sound like a textbook all of a sudden. This is the sort of weird shit that turns me on."

"So... You want for your breasts to be bigger too?"

"I want to be bigger than Lilly. And m-" She stopped herself. She was about to say 'milkier', but she didn't think that Lilly would be too happy if she shared that particular aspect of her body with Xeplegh.

She didn't seem to notice. She was looking over at Lilly, and her chest. Each breast was, individually, more than twice as big as Rose's head, which was resting on top of them. "That is very big."

"I'm a strange girl, Xeplegh."
