"Do you mind if I slide in with you two? I'm having trouble sleeping."
"Yes, of course, get in on the other side of Rob," Maria says. Bec runs around to the other side of the bed and pulls the covers back. A pair of large breasts squashing against me wakes me up. "That's okay, isn't it, baby?"
"Mmm yeah," I say, trying to sound half-asleep. Maria snuggles in, and I drift back off.
I wake to Maria screaming, "UUUUHHHH!" I throw the covers back, but Maria comes through the door forcefully and throws herself on the bed.
I wait patiently for Maria to tell me what has upset her. I see movement at the door and see Bec looking concerned. "She just spoke to her mother," Bec whispers. I nod, and she goes back toward the kitchen.
"Cambridge University called and spoke to my mother. There's a possible opening for me to start next week, six months early."
