There is a definite realness to this, a current fantasy element that I feel a lot of us are dealing with. If I’m on mute with my camera off I feel the reason is inspired by this moment you’ve written. I like the POV design and overall temperament of the story, definitely mature and less fast-paced then many submissions on this site.
