Time for an update . I am still male ( last time I looked ) and have had some recent sadness in my life as both Rupert ( my Bolivian tree frog ) and Marmaduke ( my Ugandan armadillo ) passed away within days of each other after a late night snack got out of hand . Marmaduke had a real passion for dairylea dunkers and was gleefully lapping up the stodgy cheese when Rupert forcefully pushed into him with an obvious grumbling in his stomach . What ensued will scar me for life . A violent fight and I tried my best to separate them but Rupert is surprisingly strong . Marmaduke inexplicably clawed at my delicate good looks and , yes , left a 5.5 inch scar ( told you I was scared for life ) . After three days I made the difficult decision to turn off their life support machines . I now have two new pets . Horatio , a delightful Equitorial Guinea sloth and Neopolitan , an equally delightful crab eating spider from Papua New Guinea . I recently discovered that as a special treat at Christmas sloths consume crab eating spiders . There could be a difficult discussion around December........
