I have worked with books all of my life. I loved to read and I turned it into a career. I have proofread books, written essays, and criticized the sloppy and worthy efforts of others, some of whom should know better. I have worked in schools, in the corporate legal industry, and in military service. I like to laugh, to think about the things we do as if they are important, and to love. I like the subtle over the brash, the implied rather than the stated, and the pastel instead of the vibrant. I like soft kisses and tender touches, getting there before being there, and good manners. I never start a conversation I don't intend to finish, nor do I leave one without notice.
