UPDATE: 2024.04.29 - CH 16 is queued-up and cycling. Only about 23% trimmed from the manuscript version. So, maybe still pretty long, I suppose... but some of the exposition is very brief. Carina Burhan & Marchem aren't my Rosencrantz & Guildenstern... maybe there are a handful of humor sources... not sure. Anyway, CH 17 will be primarily focused on the traveling trio "surviving" the forest. Fae nonsense and shenanigans. Enjoy or don't. Slàinte!
Update 2024.04.21 - Rather than spliff it up, I was trying to get a little smoke off the keys during editing... my days have been pretty full chasing after affordable housing and keeping the larder filled. I'll be chopping CH 16 down from its 40-odd pages for faster consumption... there's just not much fap material in it. I thought I could throw in a bit more with the Sidero and South-wold... Just not feeling it. Uh-oh... does that mean the story is arcing away from the smutty stuff? Maybe in the short-term. Remember, slow-burn epic. I mean slow. Ponderous. Well, back to editing when I'm not busy with IRL nonsense. Slàinte.

Enjoy the work, or don't. I've seen plenty of wonderful works here, with some chagrin when a "good series" goes silent, or when I think "oh, that could be better if..." Nothing against these authors. Time and the tide wait for none - still, the work continues.
