When I was a child, I dreamed about being a writer. Acknowledging the unlikelihood of become the next J.R.R. Tolkien or J.K. Rowling (for one, I have no middle name), I threw myself on my studies and followed a different path. Even with writing academically for a number of years, the itch of creative writing never quite vanished. I still dream of writing a book - one that is not a PhD thesis - and I will, but it seems I have all these literotic stories in my head that want to come out first. So here I am, testing the waters of creative writing for an audience, open to all constructive feedback.
