Just posted a new story 'Laura.' Yes, I recycle names, she's one of my favs to use in my writing, but the character is frequently different.
I've been doing a review of some of the many comments that I've recieved on my stories and I'm struck by one recurring conclusion: Many readers fail to understand that my stories are all fiction. Commenters love to tell me how they would have written the story and thus my work is garbage. If you want to write your own stories, please do, but refrain from insulting me on a personal level because I didn't write the exact story that you want to read. Jeepers! Remember - FICTION!
If you want characters to act in a particular manner, then I invite you to write your own stories and post them for others to judge.
I'm not a professional writer, so I'm learning the way that stories are set up and evolve. I try to build in some tension to the plot, but it is not always of a degree that jives with the situation in the LW category. I'm not even sure what that means for my stories other than they are amateur efforts. So, if you like them, great. If you don't like them, sorry and please read others stories that might appeal to you.
