Update 5/11/2023 Thank you to those who have liked my stories and followers, it is much appreciated on this side of the screen I am sorry to not be up to the standards of people who think they are Amy Tan, Mary Karr, Shakespeare, Twain, and Hemingway. I follow what a published author told me Edit 3 times and let others worry about it. So maybe paraphrase a carpenter. "Edit 3 and let it be. I don't like using the editors on Lit as I find they don't capture the essence of the story I wrote.
I wrote a piece where I had to character take hold of some CLOTH STRAPS of his lady's clothing. and let it go.
The editor told me to change it "Let it go and have it SNAP!
Cloth straps will rip not Snap!
So this is why I don't like the editors on here. Too obtuse and adele minded!
