For more than half my life I have shared a bed with the same person.
I was born in 1964 (you can do the maths) in the UK, where I have always lived.
Our children, now grown up, have left home.
The bread winner keeps earning the bread.
The homemaker has an empty nest, and lonely hours to fill.
