Eclectic tastes in reading based on a mixed and very varied life. Not always sure what I do like (apart from writers not insulting my intelligence), but am more definite on what I do not like, namely: ineptitude in not spotting flawed or lazy plotting; rushed and sloppy writing that must be an embarassment to the person submitting the story; lack of comprehension to basic rules of grammar; most importantly of all, as it serves as a distracting nuisance, is the atrocious spelling that some authors repeatedly subject their readers to.
Still plucking up the courage to put my own thoughts and ideas into a semblance of order before submitting my own stories up for public scrutiny.
In the meantime, am more than happy to review anybody else's work that they are thinking of posting, if only to give them a little polish.
