He is amused. “What else shall we do, then?”
“I can tell you another story? It’s not as long as yours, but we only have an eternity of stories.” She would have winked mischievously, if such a thing was possible.
He agrees.
“This is the true tale, from one such universe. Though it may not be yours, depending on your point of origin.”
