As Luke Luton, I write stories that could be described as erotic, bawdy, smut, good or bad or barely tolerable and (likely) many other ways, depending on your sensibilities and critical flair.

As a writer, criticism, painful as it may be, is often a useful tool.  Do I have to agree with it?  Not at all. 
I shall, however, always review comments and advice in the spirit in which they are given - if you get my point.

Why do I write?  I am not someone that constantly puts pen to paper or whatever metaphor you prefer.  In fact, I am rather easily distracted.  Writing, along with exercise, cutting back on alcohol intake and trying to be 'a better person', whether journals, short stories or inevitable novels, enjoy brief spurts of enthusiasm that peter out as new interests emerge.

After several faltering attempts at the novel of life, I wrote a couple of short, very short, erotic stories.  One day they vanished.  Pretty sure my wife, no longer my wife, discovered them, pressing delete to send them to the place she felt they deserved.

Many years later, in a reply to a stream of consciousness email, my sister suggested I should write.  A nugget that nagged.  But write what?

That was May or June 2016.  Following the sage advice of write what you know, erotica made a lot of sense.  So I penned a few words around real events, embellishing (a lot) where facts, or lack thereof, got in the way of a good story.

Finally pressing the publish button in November 2019, two stories went live on Lot's Cave.  Lot's Cave specializes in incest but will publish pretty much anything classified as taboo or beyond.  Not having written much involving affairs within the family, I took it as a challenge to create something under that sub-genre.

Sales can best be described as modest.

As of year One COVID, I reside in Portland Oregon in the beautiful Pacific northwest. Alone. No dogs or cats or human companion.
