Firsttimewriting

Started writing for first time back in March 2021 as a form of therapy during lock down. Enjoyed it so much I've kept going at it since.

April Update:

After 3 years, nearly 60 submissions and coming up on a million words drafted, I have decided to take a hiatus from writing.

Most likely I am just a little burned out, the pleasure I got from creating stories has diminished this last while and I believe my writing has suffered because of it. It's better that I hit the pause button now than continue on and quit for good.
I've lost my muse and I need a few months away to rediscover it.

This isn't the end, I firmly intend to return to writing, I have over twenty different story plots waiting to be written and I hate leaving work unfinished.
That said, there are 6 more story submissions due over the next few weeks and I will upload them before taking a break.

I'd never have reached the number of years and submissions that I have done if not for my editor Henry, some readers who were good enough to proof read stories and offer amazing suggestions to improve them. Also writers like FifthEstate and Dee_Purple whose encouragement and advice helped tremendously.
