I consider Fifty Shades of Gray to be the worst piece of fiction erotic or otherwise I have ever read. I read a section via ebook someone recommended to me and the only way I could plow through the ten pages was to actively rewrite it as a I read. The author made a parody of the craft by breaking every accepted rule of fiction writing as often as possible. The fact it made it to #1 deserves a Non-human category story about the author selling her soul to the devil to get utter garbage publish over and over.
