Divorced, mother of boy (Down's) and daughter. Trained as 3rd officer Merchant Marine, then Conservatory, recorder teacher, music typesetter, RMA Religious Studies (with Greek, Latin and Hebrew) and MA Musicology. Now pensioned, decided not to pursue my PhD but writing a long story (novel? booklength?) about a parallel world for my daughter.
