Brand new at this; my first story on Lit (Happy Birthday, Beautiful Boy) was not only my first work of erotic fiction; it was my first work of fiction of any sort in the last 25 years. I really appreciate the compliments and also the *constructive* criticism. I've been writing for a few years now, but I'm basically an essayist. The writing styles are totally different and I'm trying to get the hang of things like paragraph structure and dialogue in the fiction genre so please stop to consider that before dropping nasty, hateful comments. To anyone who enjoys trolling this board and dropping insulting, vitriolic comments about people's writing style or technical skill: If you have no published stories... well, your opinion is worth the weight of your literary portfolio.
