I registered (after 20+ yrs of free reading) so I could contribute as an editor. My editing focus will be proofreading. I'll look at spelling and grammar. I'll confirm proper in-context word usage (such as compliment vs complement). I will also look for missing or extra text and overall sentence flow (continuity). Clarity will also get some attention. I'll fix what I can. It won't be perfect, just better.

I don't offer advice--unless specifically asked--on plot, character development, descriptions of sex acts, etc.
The way I see it, your story is your own. I'm only here to make it easier to read.

BTW, my profile pic (avatar) is a Chinese typewriter. It's a clue to the origin of my username.

And, I say I'm single, but I am actually in a long-distance relationship. So, it feels like the single life. She's a "good" girl-- knows nothing about this kind of website. Can't wait to show her the ________ side.

I have a few story ideas, but not yet committed to writing them. For now, I'll amuse you with some jokes. Later, I'll publish a How-To that all authors and editors will find interesting. I will date and update here when something gets submitted for approval.

9/7/22 I'm a week later than planned returning home, so the 4th installment will be delayed. Should see it published by end of next week.

I've so far had 7 authors ask for editing. I've responded and, if given a story, will list recent authors for whom I've edited-- once their story is published.

I will not be able to edit from 8/25 - 8/31. Effective today, no new jobs until September... Going out of town... 9/7 Update, late return so new editing on hold until next week.

9/9 Update... Of the 7 requests for editing, two authors did not send me a story. One of the 2 has no published works. 4 editing jobs are finished and published (one already has the next chapters waiting in the wings.) One job is resuming today and should finish by the end of the week.
