First-time writer. UK-based and attitudes and spelling will reflect that. Fundamentally, I believe that consenting adults can do what they like in private, but recognise that there is room for argument on what is consent and who is an adult, Also, people are people and things other than sex matter to them. I am at least as interested in the emotional motivations and problems of the characters as the sexual activity.
So far, my stories are set in and around Birmingham, England, in 1980/81, featuring various women who have widely differing views of sex. There is no internet or social media. a lot less CCTV, and indiscretions are more likely to be got away with.
