I have enjoyed reading some of the stories I have found here so have decided to contribute and to share some poems I wrote almost 30 years ago.
Hopefully people will enjoy reading them.
Some of these poems are saved on a hard drive, Inspiration grabbed me and I copied some out on when I got Office 2007. Most are sitting in a black fake leather folder.
I had forgotten how much I had written.
I am conflicted, I have already published some things I knew people would not like, after all 99% of these were written for myself, but do I censor myself?
Re-reading these thoughts of a self 25-30 years gone... the memories and passions are like they were yesterday! this is good and bad. Some losses we try and forget, some pains always return to pain.
My vanity inclines me to print it all. A record of the beginnings of a life immortalized.
I suppose we will see.
