A long time ago, someone dubbed me a "Renaissance Man" because of my interest in a wide range of topics. I love Egyptology (especially belly dancers - are they part of Egyptology?) I make Neys (Egyptian Flutes) - I'd love to play my Ney for a local Belly Dancer. (Ah, of such ideas come wonderful dreams.) I've taken flight lessons (and still fly - at least, within the confines of my computer - I even own a Blackbird!) I learned how to Knit, how to Crochet, cross stitch. I paint animals on rocks. I fix cars (but only when they break down and I have no choice but to repair the dang thing because nobody can get around it lying in a heap of metal in the middle of the road) I can do my own taxes (but really wish I could afford to have someone (preferably a pretty secretary with a huge navel fetish) do them. I play trumpet and guitar, flute, recorder (And Ney). I write music, usually for band, orchestra or choir. I'm an Amateur actor and I don't do too badly singing. I'm rather eccentric.
