We are an IR couple WMBF. When we first met, neither of us was looking to date someone from the other race. Neither of us had dated outside our race before. We met when I (Dave) gave a ride to a friend's niece to Penny's house so Penny's daughter could do her hair. Penny's car was in the shop and was waiting on a cab to go grocery shopping. I needed to shop also, so we went together. During an hour of grocery shopping we established a comfort with each other, a frank and honest level of communication, and a common sense of humor that neither of us had experienced before. We hit on such a deep, personal, and honest level, that we were both (color) blinded. "Love at first Cheez-its".
As Penny & I continued to grow and develop our relationship, the reactions of friends of each of ours, family members, citizen passerby, law enforcement, the business public, and others was often puzzling, illogical, hateful, and sometimes so ridiculous we could only laugh.
